the Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award!

  • Thank the blogger who nominated you, linking back to their site.
  • Put the Award logo on your blog.
  • Answer the ten questions sent to you.
  • Make up ten new questions for your nominees to answer.
  • Nominate ten blogs.

WARNING: Long post ahead. Since I got 3 nominations from 3 different blogs, I’ll be answering 3 sets of questions.
Questions from Zin
1. Are you working on writing a book or planning to publish one a few years from now?
I would want to write my own book someday, but right now, I’m staring at a blank page.
2. Second-hand or first-hand books?
First-hand books. But I wouldn’t mind having second hand books, especially if they’re cheaper and in a good condition.
3. Any weird reading habits?
Well, sometimes I tend to start reading 3 books at the same time and end up finishing none. That’s not a weird habit, that’s a bad, non-committal reading habit that I want to avoid.
4. Have you read a book in a language other than English?
Of course, I’ve read books in my native language but… I still prefer reading English ones.
5. Any characters which will stay with you forever?
Eleanor Douglas and Park Sheridan. They’d stay with me forever in a haunting way. Like, I would always think of what happened to them and never get an answer.
6. Any book which helped you overcome an emotional obstacle?
What emotional obstacle?
7. How many authors have you met?
On twitter, a lot. IRL, ZERO. #sadlife
8. How many signed copies do you own?
Again, ZERO. But, Bea and her signed books deficient shelf is accepting donations.
9. Is there any character which you desperately wish for to be real?
Sometimes I wish some fictional characters were real but when I think about it, I would prefer them in the fictional world and instead of them becoming real, I’d be the one to be in their world.
10. If you were to write a book, what would it be about?
It’ll be something that I would want to read myself. Definitely YA contemporary romance or a dark mystery/thriller.

Questions from Analee
1. What is your favorite book cover? Why?
Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon. Just because.
2. What is your least favorite book you read this year?
Uhm… Just click here to find out.
3. What makes you love a book?
There are different reasons to why I love a book. But mostly it’s the plot or how the book made me feel during and after reading it.
4. Do you snack while reading? If so, what do you snack on?
It depends. Sometimes I do, but most of the time, I don’t. I like snacks though. And food.
5. What is the longest time you’ve gone without reading?
5 days – a week.
6. What is your favorite film adaptation of a book?
Harry Potter.
7. What is the largest amount of money you have ever spent on books at one time?
$26.
8. Which books have you re-read many times?
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell.
9. Which book character would you want as your significant other? Why?
HAHA. Park Sheridan, or Roger from Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour.
10. Which book character do you think is most like you? What character would you most like to be?
Maggie from You and Me and Him! She’s my spirit animal. And there were instances in my life that just reminds me of her. Like when my Mom tells me not to eat snacks but the more I’m restrained, the more I do. It’s just so Maggie! LOL.
